An absolute legend restaurant. A bizarre building next to those new fancy high rise. From outside, you would think it is rundown place, but it is clean and cozy inside. Good service and nice comfort food. It remains untouched since I first dined here in 2010, absolutely crazy!

It was an enchanting experience, service was insanely fast and efficient. I recommend. But sadly they are leaving in August from the area, so come when you can. 10/10 would recommend.

Visit based on some great reviews. I ordered Pho, Vermicelli with grilled pork and spring roll, and Rice with grilled lemongrass chicken and spring rolls. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was great and quick. The building is quite old but it has plenty of parking available. Food is reasonably priced for the quality offered.

The food here definitely deserves the 4 star rating! The pho broth was flavourful and tasted true to authentic pho. The meat was good quality and great portions. The vermicelli was also tasty and had good portions. The price point is fair priced and the service was relatively quick. It’s conveniently close to many hotels that it is within walking distance. Although the restaurant’s exterior does look a bit sketchy don’t let it stop you from trying this place out as the food is certainly worth the visit!

The pho here is incredible. Every time I try it, I hope to find something new—but instead, I’m reminded of how consistently authentic and flavorful it is. You can tell it’s made by real Vietnamese chefs who bring their culture into every bowl. Unlike other places that taste watered down or overly commercial, this one has depth, tradition, and soul. Jalopo is easily one of the best pho spots in Vancouver. Highly recommended.

Best Pho place in North Vancouver by far. I have been coming here since the late 1990's and no other place in North Vancouver can match the quality of broth. The decor just adds to the greatness of this place.

I tried the Pork chop with spring roll dry noodle. Taste is very good and portion is big. Pork chop is thin slice and tasty. Service is good also. Price is average. The only issue is that from outside the restaurant, it looks shabby.

Very good I only got appetizers, the pork salad rolls and shrimp salad rolls, it was nice because it was healthy and I didn't leave feeling bloated. Definitely will be returning for more.
